This letter examines the discourse: “In Kali Yuga, Strength Lies in an Organized Body”, given in Patna on 31th Dedember 1978. It was published in the book, Ananda Vacanamrtam part 7, and stands as discourse #145. This is the 4th letter in this series that shines a light on the distortions rampant in these publications.
Bábá's scripture is the guiding light for all Ánanda Márgiis and seekers of dharma. Yet, the discourses Tiljala Publications (TP) has published in the Ánanda Vacanámrtam (AV) series are riddled with gross discrepancies and errors. This is readily apparent when comparing TP's printed AV books with what Bábá spoke, i.e. the original sound files of those same discourses. And that deviation is the focal point of this letter.
This is not merely a Hindi-Bangla fight; it affects all
Specifically, Bábá delivered His discourses using His chosen words and terms, but those in Publications printed something entirely different.
Some may assume that, "This Hindi distortion does not affect me." But we have to remember that for all Ánanda Márgiis, Guru is one. And He delivered His discourses in essentially three languages: Hindi (50%), Bengali (30%), and English (20%). All subsequent translations of AM books stem from the root language discourse. So once an original Hindi or English discourse is ruined then that taints all other language editions, whether that be Spanish, Russian, Chinese, German, Tagalog, or Bengali.
Verily, the result is a harmful chain reaction that adversely affects all editions of our AM books. So this is of great concern for Ánanda Márgiis and all readers. By this ruination, the errors get systemically injected into all AM books - all editions and all languages. Having an accurate transcription of the discourse in its root language is absolutely integral to achieving a proper body of scripture. So this is not just some local Hindi-Bengali dispute. Rather this ruination affects everyone: you, me, our Márgii brothers and sisters, and all future generations of sadhakas and researchers.
Rudrananda also reprints and sells same distorted, altered books
The discourses Tiljala Publications (TP) published in the Ananda Vacanamrtam series are riddled with gross discrepancies and errors. This is readily apparent when comparing TP's printed AV books with what Baba spoke, i.e. the original sound files of those same discourses. And that deviation is the focal point of this letter. Bábá has spoken one thing, whereas they have printed something entirely different. Whatever Bábá spoke, they distorted and printed in the English and Hindi books. Unfortunately, Rudrananda group also reprints and sells in their own group name, the same distorted, altered Baba books. And they have no interest in fixing the discourses.

Note: Those readers who cannot understand Hindi, should kindly take the help of Google translate or another such similar software, so as to get an idea of what it is that we are discussing.
The central idea is that in the below scan, the red underlined words are not present in Baba’s audio. And the second problem is that they have unnecessarily discarded many of Baba’s words. This is disgraceful.

सभी मार्गियों को मिलकर बाबा के ऑडियो प्रवचन के आधार पर नई पुस्तक बनाने के सिवा कोई दूसरा उपाय नहीं है |
अब समय नहीं है, अगर मार्गी और डबल्यूटी लोग भाई बहन लोग परमपुरुष बाबा के रिकॉर्डेड ऑडियो कैसेट को सुनकर उसे ज्यों का त्यों उतारकर बाबा के प्रवचनों की शुद्ध पुस्तक नहीं बनाए, तो बाबा की शिक्षा सदा के लिए लुप्त हो जाएगी । क्योंकि अभी तक आनन्दमार्ग की जो हिन्दी की पुस्तकें उपलब्ध हैं, उनमें अधिकांश कूड़ा भरा हुआ है ।
