This discourse was given by Baba in two languages: Hindi and English. The Tiljala Publishers rewrote the entire discourse as a brief summary, removing Baba's own original words. Compare the sound file below with what the Tiljala Publishers printed in Ananda Vacanamrtam part 1, chapter eight.

Bábá
Dear Márgii Brothers and Sisters
Namaskára.
In the discourse “आध्यात्मिक प्रगति के तीन सोपान“, आनन्दवचनामृतम् प्रथम खण्ड, अध्याय छह “The Three Factors For Spiritual Elevation” (AV-1 Ch. 6), Bábá has spoken mainly in Hindi हिन्दी. We have seen that although Bábá delivered the discourse in Hindi, the Tiljala group unnecessarily translated the original Hindi हिन्दी into Bengali and then took that Bengali translation and translated it back into Hindi हिन्दी meaninglessly.
Then Sarvatmanandji’s stooge Samanvayanandji सर्वात्मानन्द जी के चमचे समन्वयानन्द जी, did this sin of ruining the Hindi discourse (see below, in Hindi). In this way, they published the Ananda Vacanamrtam Hindi Edition 1993.
The standard approach given by Bábá is to directly print the original Hindi हिन्दी from His audio. But this they did not do. For your verification the sound file is on the blog. (see note 1 below for download link)
You have Bábá's audio (1) and you can verify yourself so opportunists cannot confuse you.
You have the audio recording and you can listen and compare for yourself with the below scan. (If you haven't downloaded the sound file yet, you can do so from the link below.) (1)
Compare each sentence which Bábá says in the audio, with Tiljala Group's printed version below of the same sentence. You will see that there is not a single sentence in the paragraph that is just as Bábá spoke it. Rather, every sentence is different: the vocabulary and phraseology are completely ruined. And the reason is very simple: when one translates any sentence from one language into another, and then again re-translates back into the original language, the words and phrases are bound to be ruined. Bábá’s original Hindi words are not included in the below printed discourse.
In the above scan, compare each sentence for yourself: See the difference.
I think you have already downloaded Bábá’s audio file. If you haven’t done so yet, please compare Baba’s sound with the above scan. And you will immediately see that most of Bábá’s original Hindi words have been altered.
In translating from the original Hindi to Bengali and then back into Hindi, so much gets lost and changed along the way. The result is that what gets printed is not Bábá's words. Comparing sentences in the scan with Bábá’s audio, you can see that in each and every line, the wording printed by Tiljala group is completely changed from the original sentence Bábá actually spoke. The wording is utterly changed, and that is a serious matter when it comes to presenting Guru's discourses.
As Bábá has taught, the word of guru is mantra—“Mantramúlaḿ Gururvákyam”. When Guru's words are heard or read, that has special value. To read words written by some human doing translation for Tiljala group, this does not carry the value of reading Bábá's actual words. The two cannot be compared. In reviewing the sentences spoken by Bábá with the words printed by Tiljala group, one can easily see that what the Tiljala group printed are sentences they themselves wrote—not what Bábá said. These are merely sentences written by some human being, not Mahásambhúti.
The bottom line: Tiljala group cannot claim that what they printed is Bábá's words. The Tiljala group unnecessarily translated the original Hindi into Bengali and then took that Bengali translation and translated it back into Hindi, meaninglessly. This was all done for purposes of Bengalization – otherwise what could be the reason.
General Márgiis are simple and honest, so they assume others are as well, and they trust what Tiljala group dadas say. For this reason it is needed to gently prod and ask, “How long will you continue in the dark? Open your eyes—thieves are stealing before your very eyes.” Guru's entire shástra is being ruined by these so-called honest monks of AM —open your eyes and see the truth.
Be sure to download Baba’s audio file (see note 1) and save it for your sons and daughters, grandsons and granddaughters. Otherwise they will only receive the message from Tiljala group that the discourse was translated from the original Bengali, and gradually the dogma will be spread that Bábá knew only Bengali.
How long will you remain quiet – speak out. Guru Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji has given His guideline for you, but it will not reach you. Yet you have full right to have it. Again, I will say: How long will you remain quiet – speak out.
Namaskar,
In Him,
Dharma Sagar

Footnotes.
1. Click here to listen to/download Bábá's original discourse, and compare it with the above scans of Tiljala group's published Hindi discourse.
2. Now please see our actual, “As-Is” transcription of “The Three Factors For Spiritual Elevation”. The link is below in note 6, for you to inspect. This “As-Is” transcription contains every single word which Bábá spoke, in the original language in which He spoke it.
3. When you open the blog page, you will also see on the right side at the top, a play icon titled “Hindi-English Discourse 'The Three Factors For Spiritual Elevation' 1978-08-10 Patna”. Click on the play icon, to listen to the sound file.
4. In this discourse, Bábá spoke 60% in Hindi, 40% in English, and 0% Bengali. He did not speak in Bengali at all during the discourse. And yet it is written in Tiljala Group’s Hindi edition, “Translated from the original Bengali by Ac Samanvayananda Avt."
Actually spoken by Baba:
Total words 1026
English 398
Hindi 628
Bangla 0
That means approximately 60% Hindi, and 40% English, and 0% Bangla.
5. Please see the book scan of the Publishers Page. The second line is written as follows, “आचार्य समन्वयानन्द अवधूत द्वारा मूल बंगला से अनूदित.” So it is very clear that, unnecessary Bengalization has been done. From Hindi translated to Bangla, and then again from Bangla to Hindi. That is called Bengalization. This has been done due to the language chauvinism that Hindi is lowly, and Bangla is divine.
Why Samanvayanandji Did This Thing:

"As-Is" Discourse "The Three Factors For Spiritual Elevation", given on 10 August 1978 in Patna
Here below is the "As-Is" Discourse "The Three Factors For Spiritual Elevation", given on 10 August 1978 in Patna.
Note: Bábá’s discourses were delivered orally. Speech patterns are different from the written word. Naturally then, when making the written version, certain words are not needed. Those words have been marked by curly brackets { }. That means every word Bábá spoke has been included in this transcription, but when reading, one should ignore the things which are in these curly bracketed {} sections.
Those bracketed sections have been kept intact as an official record. That way - when comparing with the original sound file - the "As-Is" version stands as a complete record of every word and syllable spoken by Guru.
Also note that square brackets [ ] in the text are used to indicate insertions by the editors. Anything spoken by Márgiis during the discourse, is also placed in square brackets. Such as ["बाबा, बाबा, बाबा !"].

Bábá
Dear Márgii Brothers and Sisters
Namaskára
See for yourself: There is not a single sentence which Bábá spoke.
In the discourse “The Three Factors For Spiritual Elevation” (AV-1 Ch. 6), Bábá has spoken both in Hindi and English. (1) We have seen that although Bábá delivered the discourse in Hindi and English, the Tiljala group unnecessarily translated the original English and Hindi into Bengali and then took that Bengali translation and translated it back into English, meaninglessly. In this way, they published the Electronic English edition in 2009. The standard approach given by Bábá is to directly print the original English from His audio. But this they did not do. For your verification the sound file is on the blog. (see note 2 below for download link)
In translating Bábá's discourse from English and Hindi to Bengali, and then from Bengali back into English, many aspects of the discourse were altered; and, most of Bábá's original words were lost. It will be interesting to see that most words were altered or lost as a direct result of Tiljala group's having unnecessarily translated the discourse from English into Bengali and then back into English.
You have Bábá's audio (2) and you can verify yourself so opportunists cannot confuse you.
In the below scan of the Tiljala Group publication, please pay attention to the red vertical lines; the printed material which has been so marked is not spoken by Bábá during this discourse. The garbage has been added in order to befool the readers, that everything is done fine. Because Bábá spoke altogether 1000 words. And to transcribe the audio is a tedious job. So the person who transcribed, copied some garbage from somewhere and pasted as if the material is of this chapter. So they saved themselves from the transcription work. And they inflated their number of words. That is why we see garbage present here. All the lines of text in the below scan which are bordered with a vertical red mark, those are garbage--not at all spoken by Bábá in this discourse. Anything which does not belong to that discourse is in one sense garbage. It may be gold somewhere else, but here it is garbage. It is just like, sand is extremely important for manufacture of concrete. But when it goes in the eyes, then it is garbage.
When one prints the words of Guru, one has to use the very words Guru spoke, so as to present the correct meaning.
You have the audio recording and you can listen and compare for yourself with the below scan. (If you haven't downloaded the sound file yet, you can do so from the link below.) (2)
Neither Bábá’s Hindi words nor His English words are included in the below printed discourse.
Again, in the above scan, please pay attention to the red vertical lines; the printed material which has been so marked is not spoken by Bábá during this discourse. The garbage has been added in order to befool the readers, that everything is done fine. Because Bábá spoke altogether 1000 words. And to transcribe the audio is a tedious job. So the person who transcribed, copied some garbage from somewhere and pasted as if the material of this chapter. So they saved themselves from the transcription work. And word counts became almost proper. That is why we see garbage present here. All the lines of text in the above scan which are bordered with a vertical red mark, those are garbage--not at all spoken by Bábá in this discourse.
When one prints the words of Guru, one has to use the very words Guru spoke, so as to present the correct meaning.
I think you have already downloaded Bábá’s audio file and compared with the above scan. And you must have seen that most of Bábá’s original English and Hindi words have been altered.
Now please see the actual, “As-Is” transcription of “The Three Factors For Spiritual Elevation”. The link is below in note 4, for you to inspect. This “As-Is” transcription contains every single word which Bábá spoke, in the original language in which He spoke it.
In translating from the original English to Bengali and then back into English, so much gets lost and changed along the way.
These are merely sentences written by some human being, not Mahásambhuti.
The bottom line: Tiljala group cannot claim that what they printed is Bábá's words. The Tiljala group unnecessarily translated the original English into Bengali and then took that Bengali translation and translated it back into English, meaninglessly. This was all done under for purposes of Bengalization – otherwise what could be the reason.
When you open the blog page, you will see on the right side a play icon titled “Hindi-English Discourse 'The Three Factors For Spiritual Elevation' 1978-08-10 Patna”. Otherwise they will only receive the message from Tiljala group that the discourse was translated from the original Bengali, and gradually the dogma will be spread that Bábá knew only Bengali.

Bábá's Original Words Lost
Due to Unnecessary Double Translation
Due to Unnecessary Double Translation
In translating Bábá's discourse from English and Hindi to Bengali, and then from Bengali back into English, many aspects of the discourse were altered; and, most of Bábá's original words were lost. It will be interesting to see that most words were altered or lost as a direct result of Tiljala group's having unnecessarily translated the discourse from English into Bengali and then back into English.
You have Bábá's audio (2) and you can verify yourself so opportunists cannot confuse you.

Translated Bengali Edition Falsely Treated
As Original Discourse
Tiljala group has taken the liberty of translating the English
discourse into Bengali, treating their self-written Bengali
version as the original, and translating from their Bengali back
into English for the English edition. As if the translated
Bengali version written by Tiljala group dadas, were the
original version given by Bábá.
This is a shady technique we call re-translation, and is used by those in-charge dadas throughout this discourse. Re-translation has the nasty effect of changing all the words in the discourse. Whatever words Bábá used in the original English were all translated into Bengali. And by the time the Bengali is translated back into English, nothing remains of the original English words Bábá used.
Proof of Re-Translation
So here is the proof, just make the comparison for yourself: we have placed Tiljala group's published English discourse below. And the "As-Is" transcription of what Bábá actually spoke, has been put on our blog for you to inspect. (3) And Bábá's original sound recording is also on the blog. (4) Compare what Bábá says to what they wrote. You will find that although both are in English, there is hardly a single line in what they printed which is just like what Bábá spoke. Every idea is reworded and the reason for it is that it has ALL been translated twice—English to Bengali, and then Bengali back to English.
Here below then is what Tiljala Publications printed. This is their latest version, published in Yoga Psychology. Now please play the audio file which you have downloaded. Pay attention to what Bábá says in English, and compare with the below scan. You will find that nothing matches. Bábá's every word is lost in Bengalization.
Here below are the next (and final) two pages of what Tiljala Publications printed. This is their latest version, published in Yoga Psychology. Now please play the audio file which you have downloaded. Pay attention to what Bábá says in English, and compare with the below scan. You will find that nothing matches. Bábá's every word is lost in Bengalization.
Please compare the above with the "As-Is" discourse (3), which has been transcribed word for word just as Bábá spoke that day 19 December 1978. Please also download (by clicking in note 4) and listen to the actual sound recording of Bábá's discourse. This is final proof of what Bábá actually said.
As an example, see the above scan of the discourse as published by Tiljala Group. Pay special attention to the section at the end of the second scan on pp.28-29, with the red border. This section Bábá spoke only in English and did not say at all in Bangla. So it should have been exactly as spoken by Bábá.
Yet compare this red-bordered section with the end of the actual "As-Is" transcription of the discourse, available for viewing at the link below. (3) The same section there has been highlighted in yellow. The subject matter is the same, but all the wording is different: Hardly a single sentence in the Tiljala Publications (TP) version uses the words Bábá actually said.
In this discourse, Bábá spoke para after para, so many things in English. And yet TP ignored this fact.
The only proper way would have been to preserve Bábá's original English paras, and add the things Bábá said only in Bangla by translating those into English. But instead they deleted all Bábá's original English words and translated into English everything they themselves had written in Bangla.
Here below is the calculation of how much Bábá spoke in English, and how much in Bangla. By this we can understand that Bábá spoke 55% or over half the discourse in English. A mere 45% of the discourse was given in Bengali.
Total Words 1169
English 644 = 55%
Bengali 525 = 45%
Yet this fact, our Tiljala Publications ignored. Because of this, if you compare the "As-Is" discourse with the printed book, you hardly find any words which Bábá actually spoke.
What Bábá Says in English Was Removed
This is all done to paint the entire scene as though Bábá spoke only in Bangla. This is TP's black work of Bengalization. Bábá spoke over half this discourse in English, but they did not print His direct words. All Bábá said in English was removed.
So your impression that when you read the printed discourse you are reading Bábá's words-- this is not true. The printed words in the English book published by TP are the words of some Bengali intellectual of the publication department who took Bábá's English discourse, translated it into Bengali, and then again made that into English. This TP has done in order to fulfill their agenda of Bengalization. Judge for yourself.
How long will you remain quiet – speak out. Guru Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji has given His guideline for you, but it will not reach you. Yet you have full right to have it. Again, I will say: How long will you remain quiet – speak out.
At His Feet,

In the discourse “Extra-Cerebral Memory”, Bábá has
spoken mainly in English. (1) All the principal ideas Bábá
presented in English, and He spent 55% of the time speaking in
English. (2) Yet Tiljala Group has translated the entire discourse

Here below is the "As-Is" Discourse "Extra-Cerebral
Memory", given on 19 December 1978 in Kolkata.
