Presented Baba As Saluting His Imaginary Guru

Namaskar,
The below article submitted by DC Dada ends with the Bengali words, "A'mi ta'nke pran'a'm korechi", meaning "I pay my salutations to the Divine Guru." And then it is signed as Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji.

This gives the false impression that Shrii Shrii Anandamurti is prostrating to the Divine Guru. That is what the typical reader of that newspaper article will think.

As Ananda Margiis, we know and preach that the Guru of Ananda Marga is Taraka Brahma - the Guru of gurus. But this article has been cut and presented in the wrong direction. Readers of newspapers, i.e. the  general public, will think that the Guru of Ananda Marga is just from some ordinary lineage and got all His teachings from some other guru etc. This is the way readers will think because the article gives the wrong impression that Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji is a disciple bowing down to His guru. The article concludes in that way.

Baba Is Taraka Brahma & Has No Guru

Yet, every Ananda Margii knows that Baba - Lord Shriii Shrii Anandamurtiji - is Taraka Brahma and He does not have any guru.

3-9. Brahmaeva gururekah náparah

"Purport: Brahma alone is the guru. Brahma alone directs the units to the path of emancipation through the media of different receptacles or bodies. No one except Brahma conforms to the real significance of the word “guru”." (Ananda Sutram, 3-9)

"He Himself is a born guru and has no spiritual guru." (AV-33, Our Concept of Táraka Brahma)

We must not allow DC Dada - i.e. Dada Divyacetanandji - or anyone to present Guru in such a such a demeaning and belittling manner. Please write to Divyacetanandji and tell him to stop doing this

Namaskar,
at His lotus feet,

Stealing Hindi Purnea Discourse & Adding to Bangla Pile

Download S. File, AV Part 13, chapter 12

Namaskar,
Thank you for your interest in this important topic that deals with the purity of Bábá's printed books. This is an entirely new topic with a new sound file from Baba's original discourse - link appended below. So there should not be any confusion; no one should think this is an old item. To the contrary, it is an entirely new subject.

To Falsely Make it Appear that Bábá Gave More Discourses in Bengali

than any Other Language

This letter addresses yet another stolen discourse in which the original language  was wrongly presented as being Bangla in order to make it appear that Bábá gave more discourses in Bengali than any other language. The discourse is from the latest English edition (2011) of Ánanda Vacanámrtam, Part 13, chapter 12.

The letter contains the following points:

1: Please download the sound file so you can better understand this issue (see note 1).

2: The discourse under question and scrutiny is: AV-13, chapter 12, "Parama Purusa Is The Supreme Shelter".

3: This is a Purnea Hindi discourse, Tadekam Nidhanam Niralambam Iisham, stolen & covered up as Bangla.

4: The Tiljala Publishers have printed that it was given in Bangla, in order to falsely make it appear that Bábá gave more discourses in Bengali than any other language.

5: This is not a language issue but a matter of authenticity.

Please find more about all of the above points, as well as many new and important details, in the below main section of this email.

Main Section In Brief

Following are the details of how the publishers took an original Hindi discourse - "Parama Purusa Is The Supreme Shelter" / (Tadekam Nidhanam Niralambam Iisham) - from AV-13 and labeled it as a Bangla discourse. This very harmful, alarming, and deceptive trend is discussed at length below in an easy-to-read format.

1: All should know that Bábá originally delivered the discourse, Parama Purusa Is The Supreme Shelter," in Hindi on 03 July 1979, in Purnea. The Hindi name of the discourse is: Tadekam Nidhanam Niralambam Iisham. But the publishers have declared that Bábá spoke in Bangla. That is their deceptive tactic.

Twice Translated:

Disobeyed Guru's Given System of Translation

2: FACT: This discourse, "Parama Purusa Is The Supreme Shelter", was given by Bábá in Hindi. They translated this discourse from Hindi into Bengali, and then again from Bengali into English—and published that twice-translated English version in the English book, Ánanda Vacanámrtam, part 13, chapter 12, p.91. But Bábá's rule is that any translation is to be done directly from the original language, i.e. in this case from Hindi directly to English — which they did not do. So they disobeyed Bábá.

3: The printed and published English discourse does not match up with Bábá’s original Hindi which Bábá Himself spoke. The outcome is that instead of reading Bábá’s original words in direct translation, Márgiis are forced to read a twice-translated version which, due to being translated twice (first from Hindi to Bengali and then Bengali to English), is in great part far from what Bábá actually spoke in Hindi. This occurred due to not following Bábá's rule of translating directly from Hindi to English—and the ramifications of going against this rule are horrific.

Listen to the Sound File and See For Yourself

4: Be sure to play the sound and carefully review the published discourse.

5: For your reference and confirmation, the sound file containing Bábá’s original discourse has been posted to the blogsite (see note 1). Just by listening to a few words, anyone knowing Hindi can understand that Bábá is speaking Hindi – not Bengali.

6: You can contact any private translation business or translating agency and confirm with them that in this sound file, Bábá is speaking Hindi and not Bengali.

Their Bogus Publisher's Note

Shows It as a Bangla Discourse

7: But look what the publishers have written about this very discourse in their Publisher’s Note:

"Parama Purusa Is The Supreme Shelter". Discourse in Bengali. Tape. Originally published in Bengali as “Tadekam’ Nidhanam’ Niralambamiisham’” in Ánanda Vacanámrtam 13, 1980. Tr. from the Bengali by Dr. Aditya Kumar Mohanty. (Ánanda Vacanámrtam, part 13, Publisher’s Note, p. xxiii)

So in their Publisher’s Note they are making the bogus claim that this discourse was originally given in Bengali. But this is wrong.

Professor Mohanty & Those Other Stooges

8: This proves that those involved - Dada Acyutanandji, Dada Sugatanandji, and Professor Aditya Mohanty - are faithful stooges of Dada Sarvatmanandji. These are the key persons executing Dada Sarvatmanandji's agenda of Bangalisation. They have betrayed Guru by falsifying the entire situation. And other stooges involved in this work are Sis Malati (U.K), Shantanu Roy, and Madhava Basak, etc.

Here it should be noted that Dada Acyutanandji, Dada Sugatanandji, and Professor Aditya Mohanty can easily differentiate Hindi from Bengali. They are well-versed in this regard. So it is not like they are from a remote village in Alaska and have no idea about Hindi and Bengali. Rather, these three leaders in Publications are very aware about these languages and can easily distinguish Hindi from Bengali and vice-versa.

Authenticity of Baba's Discourse

Note A Language Issue Per Se

9: The purpose of this letter is to make Bábá's printed discourses authentic and dogma-free. This is not a language issue this is an issue of authenticity. We must know the correct history and specifics of each and every discourse. Just as a librarian, professional, or researcher knows all the facts and history of their area of expertise, it is our duty to have the same level of expertise when it comes to archiving, managing, preserving, and publishing His discourses. This will bring integrity to Ananda Marga books, and help both present and future scholars who research Baba's divine work. Finally, each and every devotee should be able to access Guru's words in their original form. Yet if it is not even know what the original language was, then how will they be able to do that. That is why this entire matter is an issue of authenticity - and has nothing to do with on particular language per se. The duty of every disciple of Lord Shrii Shrii Ánandamúrtiji is to keep watch on the purity of Guru's printed books.

Why They Steal:

They Dream Of Putting Bangla on Top & Make it Religious Language

10. Some new margiis may be wondering why all this is going on - why would those Tiljala Publishers be so intrigued and enticed to steal discourses by claiming them as original Bengali. The reason is very clear. They want bragging rights that Bangla is the greatest and top-most language and that all should bow down to the mighty pedestal of the Bengali language.

In that sense they are no different than the Muslims. Those Muslims have mandated that that the Koran / Quaran must only be printed in Arabic. Thus all followers of Islam must learn Arabic to read their scripture. Those at the helm of Tiljala Publications desire the same status for Bengali. If one day they are able to step-by-step steal all the discourses and falsely label them as coming from the original Bengali, then they can impose Bangla on all. Everyone will be forced in that direction. This is their long-term dream. They want Bengali to become the religious language of Ananda Marga. That is their aim which they hope to manifest one day. In sum, such publishers are a spitting-image of those Islamic clerics.

Summary

The discourse "Parama Purusa Is The Supreme Shelter" was given by Bábá in Hindi, in Purnea. The Tiljala Publishers have printed that it was given in Bangla, in order to falsely make it appear that Bábá gave more discourses in Bengali than any other language. They translated the discourse twice: from Hindi to Bangla, and from Bangla into English—thus straying the English version far away from the Hindi original.

Genital Mutilation of Ananda Margii Infants - Part 1

BABA

Genital Mutilation of Ananda Margii Infants

Part 1

Namaskar,
Keeping our scripture in proper shape is highly important but unfortunately the Publications Dept has presented point #2 of Sixteen Points in a contradictory manner. And in result, margii infants outside India - around the world - are being maimed.

As we know, the philosophy of Ananda Marga is consistent through and through. A point delivered in one discourse is complemented - never contradicted - in other discourses. So each and every discourse works as part of a cohesive body known as Ananda Marga philosophy.

Now see how the Senior Acarya Diary prohibits circumcision.

POINT FROM SENIOR ACARYA DIARY:

NO CIRCUMCISION IN ANANDA MARGA

In Senior Acarya Diary, in a specific section titled "Circumcision", Baba clearly delineates that Ananda Marga does not subscribe to the practice of circumcision. Here is the section where condemns circumcision from Senior Acarya Diary, as contributed by one senior acarya.

Senior Acarya Diary is one of the foremost and important books on Ananda Marga philosophy and teachings. And in that Senior Acarya Diary, Guru's strict mandate is that Ananda Marga forbids the practice of circumcision. It furthermore states that circumcision is a tradition of the Semitic religions. It should also be born in mind, that there is no other place in Ananda Marga literature where Baba describes this in such detail - complete with logic and reasoning, and step-by-step care. From Guru's guideline Senior Acarya Diary, it is very clear that Ananda Marga opposes the practice of circumcision.

Unfortunately, below you will see how those in the Tiljala Publications Dept distorted the translation of point #2 of Sixteen Points in the English edition of Caryacarya part 2 whereby they have accepted circumcision. Look what they have done.

TILJALA PUBLICATIONS DISTORTED CARYACARYA PART 2

The Publications Dept distorted the English edition of Caryacarya in this false and misleading way:

Readers of the English edition will surely think that circumcision is a must in our Ananda Marga. But that is completely wrong. Ananda Marga philosophy does not support the dogmatic Semitic practice of circumcision. So those in Publications made a terrible distortion and have misled margiis outside India. Because of this, the mutilation of the genitalia of Ananda Margii infants is in vogue. The worst part is that those publishers have done all this in the name of Guru.

BENGALI CARYACARYA - SIXTEEN POINTS

In contrast, the Bengali edition of Caryacarya-2 corroborates Baba's statement from Senior Acarya Diary. In the Bengali version of Caryacarya-2, point #2 of Sixteen Points clearly states that there is no circumcision.

Following is the section from the the Bengali edition of Caryacarya part 2 (1997 Edn):

And the Hindi edition of Caryacarya part 2 presents point #2 of Sixteen Points in the same manner - the Hindi edition (CC-2) also prohibits circumcision. Thus, the Senior Acarya Diary, the Bengali edition of Caryacarya part 2, and the Hindi edition of Caryacarya part 2 all express this point in the way. They are all 100% consistent: Circumcision is not done in Ananda Marga.

Only it is the distorted English edition of CC-2 that approves of circumcision. Such is the sinful work of those Tiljala Publishers.

BABA'S TEACHINGS ARE WHOLLY CONSISTENT

TILJALA PUBLICATIONS DID THIS DISTORTION

As we know, Baba's teachings are wholly consistent. None of His teachings are contradictory in any way. So the blatant aberration and inconsistency  of this point in Caryacarya-2 English edition is deliberate sin by those publishers to appease the Muslim population / Semitic religions.

The proof is quite clear as per the above documentation. Circumcision is not allowed in Ananda Marga. But the Tiljala Publications team has gone against Baba's guideline and distorted point #2 of Sixteen Points in the English edition of Caryacarya part 2.

CIRCUMCISION IS TORTURE

DISTORTION MUST BE CORRECTED

What the Publications team has done with the English edition of Caryacarya is wholly sinful and must be corrected. This is a vital and crucial error because each and every day more and more babies are born to Ananda Marga families outside India - so around the globe such families are being misled and wrongly circumcising their children. Because of the scriptural distortion by Tiljala Publications, they do not know that Ananda Marga is against the point of circumcision. It contravenes Guru's guideline.

Tragically, margii families are subjecting their innocent and helpless infants to the pain and torture of circumcision in the name of Ananda Marga. All because of the sin of distortion committed by Tiljala Publications. They have grossly misrepresented this point to readers of the English edition of Sixteen Points. In result, innocent babes are maimed - it is shameful and inexcusable.

In the service of Parama Purusa
Vishvarupa
(Victor Aurtino)

Note 1: CIRCUMCISION IS A RELIGIOUS DOGMA

Here below Baba points out how circumcision is just one cruel custom that was perpetuated over the centuries, from one Semitic religion to the next.

"Certain practices were not originally religious rituals, but traditions or customs. Long ago the Jews started practising circumcision. When Moses converted some of his contemporaries to Judaism, and later when Mohammed converted some local people to Islam, neither prophet dared to instruct their new followers to discard the old customs they followed, consequently the old customs continued after their conversion." (PNS-21, How to Unite Human Society)

The main thing Baba is stating is that "neither prophet dared to instruct their new followers to discard their old customs."

And now Tiljala Publishers are committing this mistake as those prophets of old. Those Tiljala Publishers are cowards - they lack the courage to follow the principles of Ananda Marga and oppose this dogmatic tradition of circumcision. They are scared to say that circumcision is forbidden in Ananda Marga. So instead, they are carrying on with this dogma in order to appease those indoctrinated by the Semitic religions etc.

Note 2: NO DIFFERENT FROM THOSE PRIMITIVE TRIBAL COMMUNITIES

Sadly now our Ananda Marga is no different from those African regions and various other tribal communities that brutally circumcise females as per their local tradition. There has been widespread public outcry about this and now we are doing similar things in our Ananda Marga. All because of the distortion committed by Tiljala Publications.

We should not keep quiet. This problem must be fixed. Otherwise if we fail to point out the problem and do not demand its correction, we will commit pratyavaya.
