H group is distorting Bábá’s books

Again and again Bábá has warned that unqualified people should not ruin His teachings by manipulating them and providing wrong translation. That very thing which Bábá prohibits, has happened in this following case.

The AV-30 English discourse “Mysticism” has been completely ruined by mis-translation. The H group Publisher Sampurnanda has printed multiple times the very term which Bábá has prohibited.

While talking about mysticism in a Hindi discourse, Bábá clearly directed that “mysticism” and “rahasyátmakatá / rahasyaváda” are not the same thing. In Indian languages He has guided that mysticism is to be called “mystic-váda”. (see note 1)

Blunder by stooge Sampurnanda

But the translator for this Hindi version of AV-30 has done just the opposite, using instead the term which Baba has banned. Please see the underlined terms below. All these usages are wrong.

Here below is the back cover of AV-30 Hindi, translated and published by Sampurnanda H group. H group has printed the full AV-30 discourse called “Mysticism” here on the back cover. Wherever Bábá has spoken the word “mysticism” in English, H group has wrongly translated it as “rahasyátmakatá”. Each of these wrong translations goes directly against Bábá’s guideline, and is underlined in red below.

As mentioned, wherever Bábá has spoken the word “mysticism”, H group has wrongly translated it as “rahasyátmakatá”. Each of these wrong translations goes directly against Bábá’s guideline, and is underlined in red above.

Conclusion: Distortion by Rudrananda’s stooges

Those who want to translate Bábá’s discourses should be qualified. They should read Bábá’s various grammar rules and guidelines. Otherwise they should not be allowed to translate. If we ignore this point, the result will be toxic to Bábá’s teachings. And that is just what has happened here. Those things which Bábá Himself has barred, have been used in His name—due to ignorance.

This harm has been done by H group. H group is copying the work of Tiljala Publications, sticking their own name on it, and getting it translated by worthless people. The example discussed here is just the tip of the iceberg. If those knowing Hindi and English compare the original English (see note 3) with the above scan of the Hindi translation, they will see that this AV-30 translation is full of junk.

It is sad that Bábá’s books are getting ruined by unworthy people before our eyes.

We have to save Bábá’s discourses.

Note 1. Here below Bábá is explaining in Hindi that “rahasyaváda” is the wrong translation of the word “mysticism”. Rather, Bábá says, the proper translation is “mystic-váda”.

“I exist, my Lord exists, and my search for His glamour, my search for His grandeur, is never-ending. I am moving unto Him, moving along a never-ending path. This search for the Great by the little is called mysticism. The fundamental point of spirituality depends on this mysticism. And when this mysticism, this outward existence of mysticism, coincides with the inner spirit of mysticism, the goal is reached: the unit becomes Cosmic.”

“And for the attainment of this status we have come here. We have come to this world, so our lives are not meaningless. Our everything is meaningful; and by our knowledge, by our action and by our sincerity, we will be increasing our meaningfulness from unit to Infinite.” (4)

Here following is the example of a contradiction in Ánanda Márga philosophy. It is sad but obvious that this happened due to the fault of our Tiljala Publications department. Let us come and find out about the contradiction.

Yellow is False, Green is Correct

Quote #1, highlighted in yellow, contradicts quote #2 which is highlighted in green.

Quote #1:

Ánanda Márga ideology says, “Mana eva manuśyańám kárańam bandha-mokśayoh. In other words the unit attains salvation only when she/he empties her/his mind of all objects.” (Subháśita Saḿgraha Part 2) (ref. 1)

Quote #2:

Ánanda Márga ideology says, "Those who embrace nothingness as their absolute goal develop a void in their citta in the absence of Cognitive Faculty. As a result they are unable to establish themselves in the Supreme Cognitive Stance and attain salvation. The spiritual cult which encourages this practice is certainly defective." (Subháśita Saḿgraha Part 8) (ref. 2)

Quote #1 says that when you make your mind empty, then you will realize God.

Quote #2 says that when you make your mind empty, then you will not realize God.

Conclusion

Quote #1 is from Subháśita Saḿgraha Part 2; quote #2 is from Subháśita Saḿgraha Part 8. And these two quotes contradict each other. Contradiction in any philosophy breaks the backbone of that philosophy. Ánanda Márga philosophy is not contradictory, but due to our Tiljala Publisher’s mistakes this false contradiction occurred. It is sad.

Publishers are the cause of contradiction in AM books

In view of this fact that the teachings of Táraka Brahma are perfect, never change, and contain no contradictions—in view of this, if any contradiction is found in Ánanda Márga scripture, it can only be an error of the Publishers who put the discourse into written form. Any contradiction found is due not to the Giver of the scripture, but to the medium by which that scripture was put in print.

The printed versions of the two above-mentioned discourses flagrantly contradict one another—and this contradiction has been present for almost six decades.

Two contradictory definitions printed by TP—Makes AM philosophy look hypocritical

This above discussed contradiction has been sitting in AMPS’s printed books being sold all over the world for almost six decades. The wrong teaching—from “The Intuitional Science of the Vedas - 1” in Subháśita Saḿgraha Part 2, and the correct teaching—from ”Psychic Assimilation in Psycho-Spiritual Practice”, Subháśita Saḿgraha Part 8—have both been in print for approximately that much time. And this contradiction is not subtle or vague; it is a glaring contradiction that makes Bábá look like someone who says one thing at one time, and an opposite thing at another.

Now here is one vital point: In any philosophy, if there are contradictions within it that is deadly. A philosophy which is self-contradictory cannot survive. So the presence of such a glaring contradiction is extremely serious and threatens the whole of Ánanda Márga scripture. Yet in around sixty years, the Tiljala Publishers never fixed it.

One must ask the question as to how it could be that the Tiljala Publishers never fixed such a glaring contradiction as this in sixty years.

Contradiction in scripture is deadly

Must repair without delay

The presence of such a contradiction in our Ánanda Márga scripture is of vital importance and must be repaired without delay. The very survival of Ánanda Márga ideology as guiding light for the suffering humanity, depends on this.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "The scriptures containing spiritual injunctions must be totally flawless." (3)

Fix Bábá's Discourses Now or Never

If we remain passive onlookers and do not fix the negative trends of introducing distortion into Shrii Shrii Ánandamúrtiji's discourses—if we do not bring the printed discourses up to the proper standard now—it will become impossible to change this in the future. And even if in the future some sincere Ánanda Márgiis try, they will be treated as enemies. Because this is the way religion works: Today one cannot teach the devotees of Lord Krśńa that He has nothing to do with cows; they will never believe it. In the same way, Ánanda Márgiis will become used to the wrong teachings in our AM books and they will not like to give them up. They will think that whatever was there at the end of the twentieth century, that was the gold standard for all time. And it should be kept and maintained.

Ánanda Márga is dharma—not religion—but we will face the same opposition from within to change, when wrong teachings get established.

So we don't have any time: it is either now or never. The clock is ticking: If we do not get Bábá's discourses fixed now, it will be impossible to do so later. And that will cause bloodshed and more division on the basis of the various versions of Bábá's teachings and their explanations. History bears testimony to this, that all the religions have similarly broken into multiple factions, groups and subgroups on the basis of differences in scripture interpretations. Bábá wanted to eliminate such problems, and that is why Bábá's discourses are recorded. But unfortunately, those recordings are not being published properly. This matter is very serious.

Kewal Sinha prints false things

(in the name of Bábá)

It is the duty of every Márgii to preserve and propagate Bábá's teachings in their purest form. And to do that, when one quotes Bábá's teachings in one's writing, then it is one's moral duty to cite the book name, title, discourse name and date etc, so that the reader can easily verify the accuracy of that quote. Otherwise so many false things are getting propagated these days in the name of Bábá. That is why it is the duty of sincere Márgiis to follow this basic code of discipline. But unfortunately, some rotten apples are existing in our AMPS also. The following is a case in point.

Kewal Sinha the culprit

Márgii Kewal Sinha circulated one false quote in social media in Bábá's name, with the date and place: "1st January 1971 Kolkata". Reading Kewal’s quote, it is obvious by seeing the date and place, that it is false. Because in January 1971, Bábá addressed the DMC in Boring road, Patna. Seeing the description "1st January 1971 Kolkata", some Márgiis raised the question and asked Kewal Sinha, "Please provide the book and chapter name." But Kewal Sinha is so arrogant and egotistical that he turned down the request. Even after repeated requests, he did not budge. So in this situation, the only way is to condemn him publicly for his dirty behavior.

The first thing is, Kewal Sinha is publishing false things in the name of Bábá. And the second thing is, even after repeated requests Kewal Sinha is hiding the book name and chapter of the published book etc. Because 1st January 1971 Bábá was present in Patna. So Kewal's Kolkata reference is bogus.

Vanity:  Kewal Sinha and Vimuktananda

Kewal Sinha has vanity that he was the editor of Raktamanjari journal Patna. In 1980, Bábá talked to him during UPSF meeting. Kewal ji mentions this reporting matter always and thinks that whatever he posts in Whatsapp and Facebook is correct.....

Here the example should be seen of Vimuktananda, who pre-70’s was editor of Ananda Loka magazine and Cosmic Society. And Bábá used to praise Vimuktananda a lot. Vimuktananda became a defector and went against Bábá—this very Vimuktananda. So one should never think that a post holder is great due to the post they hold. One’s greatness will be decided by one’s actions. If one posts fallacious things on Whatsapp forums—thinking in one’s false vanity that because one held the post of editor in the past whatever one posts is true and must be accepted blindly—one will be in for a big fall. Just like Vimuktananda.

Psychic disease of Kewal

Kewal has vanity that he was editor of Raktamanjari journal in 1980 in Patna. Kewal ji mentions this reporting matter always and thinks that whatever he posts in Whatsapp and Facebook is correct.....

Kewal Sinha posted this below green quote in his Whatsapp group "Raktamanjari". Please see below a screenshot of his Whatsapp post. Márgiis requested that he tell the chapter and book in which the discourse is found. But Kewal did not reply.

Conclusion

As disciples of Shrii Shrii Ánandamúrti ji it is our duty to protect His teachings and remain ever vigilant that Bábá's teachings should be preserved properly. We should not forget that Lord Shiva's and Lord Krśńa's teachings got destroyed by their disciples. And the same thing is happening with Lord Shrii Shrii Ánandamúrti ji's teachings also. Bit by bit, negative people are eating away at and polluting Bábá's teachings.

Watch out for worthless disciples who are busy in destroying Bábá's teachings. About such types of negative people Bábá has illustrated a beautiful story which is appended below. Please see below, reference number one.

Ananda Marga philosophy guides us, "Everyone’s work is to establish it with collective support. You people know that when clothes are woven white ants and mice try to eat them. So the cloth has to be saved from the destructive activities of white ants and mice. So whenever you make something, establish a protective fence to protect it from the evil forces." (1)

Ananda Marga philosophy guides us, "In days of old, when womenfolk used to prepare dried mango cakes, the young boys used to sit by the side to keep the crows away with a stick in the hand. Similarly you should be careful and alert always." (1)

Guru’s Guideline

Bábá says, “The scriptures containing spiritual injunctions must be totally flawless.” (2) So as Ánanda Márgiis, we must take this very seriously and work together to make the printed version of Bábá's discourses perfect.

Note 1. The question is, why is Kewal Sinha doing this sort of nasty deed? Although he is from Patna, but he sold out to B group. That’s why he is supporting Bengalization. And this Hindi language Patna discourse Kewal is citing as though given in Kolkata

Discourse Theft: Stolen Hindi discourse added in Bangla vault

Thank you for your interest in this important topic that deals with the purity of Bábá's printed books. This is an entirely new chapter with a new sound file from Baba's original discourse.

Hint: Stolen Hindi discourse labeled as Bangla - deliberately

This letter addresses another stolen discourse. Specifically, it was stolen from its original language and covered up as Bangla. Why was this done? In order to make it appear that Bábá gave more discourses in Bengali than any other language. The discourse in question is from the latest English edition (2011) of Ánanda Vacanámrtam, AV Part 13, chapter 14. (1)

The letter contains the following points:

1: Please download the sound file so you can better understand this issue (see note 1 below).

2: The discourse under scrutiny is: Ánanda Vacanámrtam-13, "Surrender is the Only Way to Gain Liberation from Máyá."

3: This is a Hindi Discourse given in Bihar, stolen & covered up as Bangla.

4: The Tiljala Publishers have printed that it was given in Bangla. They want to make it appear that Bábá gave more discourses in Bengali than any other language.

5. This is not a language issue but a matter of authenticity.

Befooling tactics

Following are the details of how the Publishers took an original Hindi discourse - "Surrender is the Only Way to Gain Liberation from Máyá" - from AV-13 and labeled it as a Bangla discourse. This very harmful, alarming, and deceptive trend is discussed at length below in an easy-to-read format.

1: All should know that Bábá originally delivered the discourse, AV-13 "Surrender is the Only Way to Gain Liberation from Máyá", in Hindi on 4 July 1979, in Bihar. But the publishers have declared that Bábá spoke in Bangla. That is their cheap tactic.

2: Be sure to play the sound and carefully review the published discourse.

3: For your reference and confirmation, the sound file containing Bábá’s original discourse has been posted to the blogsite (see note 1). Just by listening to a few words, anyone knowing Hindi can understand that Bábá is speaking Hindi—not Bengali.

4: You can contact any private translation business or translating agency and confirm with them that, in this sound file, Bábá is speaking Hindi and not Bengali.

Lies propagated in Publisher's Note

5: But look what the publishers have written about this very discourse in their various Publisher’s Notes.

In 2011, they wrote the following Publisher's Note in the English printed edition of Ánanda Vacanámrtam-13:

“Surrender is the Only Way to Gain Liberation”. Discourse in Bengali, Tape. Originally published in Bengali as “Sharańágati Máyámuktir Ekmátra Panthá” in Ánanda Vacanámrtam 13, 1980. Tr. from the Bengali by Dr Aditya Kumar Mohanty. (Ánanda Vacanámrtam (2011), part 13, Publisher’s Note, p.xxiii)

So in their above note they claim this to be a Bengali discourse. That has been demarcated by a red line (in the scan appended just below).

Why Tiljala Publications steal Hindi and English Baba audios

6: Some new Márgiis may be wondering why all this is going on—why would our Tiljala Publishers be so intrigued and enticed to steal discourses by claiming them as original Bengali. The reason is very clear. They want bragging rights that Bangla is the greatest and top-most language and that all should bow down to the mighty pedestal of the Bengali language.

In that sense they are no different than the Muslims. Those Muslims have mandated that the Koran / Quran must only be printed in Arabic. Thus all followers of Islam must learn Arabic to read their scripture.

Those at the helm of Tiljala Publications desire the same status for Bengali. If one day they are able to step-by-step steal all the discourses and falsely label them as coming from the original Bengali, then they can impose Bangla on all. Everyone will be forced in that direction. This is their long-term dream. They want Bengali to become the religious language of Ananda Marga. That is their aspiration, which they hope to manifest one day. In sum, such publishers are a mirror image of those dogmatic religious clerics.

Central idea

The concerning discourse was given by Bábá in Hindi, in Bihar. The Tiljala Publishers have labeled the discourse as “given in Bangla,” in order to falsely make it appear that Bábá gave more discourses in Bengali than any other language.

Purity of Bábá’s teachings is important

Verily, to make false claims about the original language of a discourse, misguides readers. Táraka Brahma has given pristine, clear teachings. False claims about the original language of the discourse opens the door to misinterpretation and dogma.

Bábá says,

"In the spiritual world, there should not be anything which will divert human beings from the path of synthesis to that of analysis, which will provoke divisive tendencies and restrict collective existence within narrow confines.”

“Nothing should ensnare people in the illusory net of pettiness in any sphere of life, from the general code of spiritual conduct to the universal and eternal principles of life – lest the voracious fangs of the all-consuming Máyá devour them. Thus the scriptures containing spiritual injunctions must be totally flawless.” (2)
