The below are scanned images of
the first page of the printed discourse from "Kevala Bhakti",
Ananda Vacanamrtam vol 20 (Hindi Edition), 1994. The second and third
sentences on this page are critically distorted from what Bábá
actually said on the recording of the discourse.
Bábá
says on the recording that “In
collective life the creation will never come to an end.”
In place of this very sentence, our AMPS
Publishers wrote instead that, “In
social life, laziness should be destroyed—of course it will be
destroyed.”
Bábá's direct words in Hindi are:
"सामूहिक
जीवन में सृष्टि का ख़ातमा कभी
नहीं होगा |
ख़ातमा
क्यों नहीं होगा,
इसके पीछे
भी दो कारण हैं |
एक logical
cum scientific और
एक है sentimental
|"
Whereas the Kolkata Publishers printed the following words instead:
"सामाजिक
जीवन में आलस्य का विनाश करना
चाहिए विनाश क्यों नहीं होगा
?
इसके पीछे
भी दो कारण हैं एक तर्क सम्मत
वैज्ञानिक और दूसरा भावात्मक
तर्क सम्मत |"
