Here following is the example of a contradiction in Ánanda Márga philosophy. It is sad but obvious that this happened due to the fault of our Tiljala Publications department. Let us come and find out about the contradiction.

Yellow contradicts the green

Yellow is False, Green is Correct

Quote #1, highlighted in yellow, contradicts quote #2 which is highlighted in green.

Quote #1:

Ánanda Márga ideology says, “In the case of sáttvikii bhakti, or sentient devotion, the goal is Parama Puruśa. Sádhakas should aspire for Him and Him alone, and this is the Supreme Goal of all human endeavours.” (Ánanda Vacanámrtam Part 2) (ref. 1)

Quote #2:

Ánanda Márga ideology says, "Sáttvikii Bhakti: A devotee of this category may think: “Now I am an old man. I have committed so many wrongs in my life. It would be wise for me to take initiation from a preceptor and count beads. Otherwise what will people say about me? They will say I’m spending my old age eating and sleeping and doing nothing worthwhile. At least I should do some religious deeds to show everyone that I love God.” This is the inner motivation behind sentient devotion. Such devotees do not think of harming others, but they do not want Parama Puruśa either. Even if such devotees attain liberation or salvation, they certainly do not get Parama Puruśa because they did not want Him. Hence such devotion has no real value." (Subháśita Saḿgraha Part 8) (ref. 2)

Quote #1 says that in sentient devotion, the goal is Parama Puruśa.

Quote #2 says that  in sentient devotion, the goal is NOT Parama Puruśa.

The yellow is false, the green is correct.

Conclusion

Quote #1 is from Ánanda Vacanámrtam Part 2; quote #2 is from Subháśita Saḿgraha Part 8. And these two quotes contradict each other. Contradiction in any philosophy breaks the backbone of that philosophy. Ánanda Márga philosophy is not contradictory, but due to our Tiljala Publisher’s mistakes this false contradiction occurred. It is sad.

How Mantreshvarananda and Acyutananda are wasting their time

When in the Publishers Page Sarvatmananda’s name was printed, at that time Sarvatmananda did nothing but Bengalization plus politics. And putting thorns in the path of others. And making potholes in common walkways so others would fall. And this he has been doing for his entire life. Now, sadly, he is counting his last days.

It is so unfortunate that on one side our AM scriptures are wrongly printed and riddled with so many obvious blunders. On the other side, our organizational in-charges are apathetic when it comes to fixing those problems. Rather, they are busy in Bengalization.

Mantreshvarananda hiding black money

Nowadays Mantreshvarananda’s and Acyutananda’s names are printed on the Publishers Page. And these people are wasting the time in idol pursuits.

For example, Mantreshvarananda is busy in touring around and going to various cities to have a picnic. And fill his black bank account, collecting literally millions of rupees and hiding the black money (more than three million Rs, equivalent to approx $50,000 USD) in Islampur, in the remote district of Uttar Dinajpur. This is just an anecdotal example of how these people waste their time and energy.

Acyutananda busy in Narada’s extravaganza forum

And in the next example, Acyutananda is busy in extravaganza in Narada’s forum. And the rest of the time he is busy in the United States Republican Party agenda of Right to Life. For that he has created his own blog also. And so he does not have time for anything but promoting these two objectives. This is the pitiful and sad condition of Tiljala Publication department. Worthless people are occupying the seat. That is the reason all the things described in this letter are going on. And there is also no plan to fix them, unfortunately.

What about the demon Rudrananda / H group

There is nothing good to tell about Rudrananda. He is a veritable demon in human form. He destroyed H group fully. And he will sell everything of H group, and take those things along with him to his grave. Many people are asking, that when he dies, should he be treated like other humans or like the demon Ravana. That is, commonly at the time of someone’s death, people are not happy upon knowing about it. But in the case of demons, people feel just the opposite. And that also is what Baba teaches to do. When demons get killed, then the public gets relief and in happiness they dance. This is what in Ananda Marga we call victory day. Due to these reasons, various Margis and wts are asking that when Rudrananda dies, then in what way should his last rites be done. Should people exalt, as in the death of demons, or not? This thing is still being debated.

Who ruined these AM books

In view of this fact that the teachings of Táraka Brahma are perfect, never change, and contain no contradictions—in view of this, if any contradiction is found in Ánanda Márga scripture, it can only be an error of the Publishers who put the discourse into written form. Any contradiction found is due not to the Giver of the scripture, but to the medium by which that scripture was put in print.

The printed versions of the two above-mentioned discourses flagrantly contradict one another—and this contradiction has been present for over four decades.

By this blunder, TP made AM philosophy faulty

This above discussed contradiction has been sitting in AMPS’s printed books being sold all over the world for over four decades. The wrong teaching—from “Love – the Essential Prerequisite” in Ánanda Vacanámrtam Part 2, and the correct teaching—from ”Vaedhii Bhakti and Shuddhá Bhakti”, Subháśita Saḿgraha Part 8—have both been in print for that much time. And this contradiction is not subtle or vague; it is a glaring contradiction that makes Bábá look like someone who says one thing at one time, and an opposite thing at another.

Now here is one vital point: In any philosophy, if there are contradictions within it that is deadly. A philosophy which is self-contradictory cannot survive. So the presence of such a glaring contradiction is extremely serious and threatens the whole of Ánanda Márga scripture. Yet in around forty years, the Tiljala Publishers never fixed it.

One must ask the question as to how it could be that the Tiljala Publishers never fixed such a glaring contradiction as this in forty years.

Contradiction in AM scripture could ruin its longevity

The presence of such a contradiction in our Ánanda Márga scripture is of vital importance and must be repaired without delay. The very survival of Ánanda Márga ideology as guiding light for the suffering humanity, depends on this.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "The scriptures containing spiritual injunctions must be totally flawless." (3)

We all should fix Bábá's Discourses—Now or Never

If we remain passive onlookers and do not fix the negative trends of introducing distortion into Shrii Shrii Ánandamúrtiji's discourses—if we do not bring the printed discourses up to the proper standard now—it will become impossible to change this in the future. And even if in the future some sincere Ánanda Márgiis try, they will be treated as enemies. Because this is the way religion works: Today one cannot teach the devotees of Lord Krśńa that He has nothing to do with cows; they will never believe it. In the same way, Ánanda Márgiis will become used to the wrong teachings in our AM books and they will not like to give them up. They will think that whatever was there at the end of the twentieth century, that was the gold standard for all time. And it should be kept and maintained.

Ánanda Márga is dharma—not religion—but we will face the same opposition from within to change, when wrong teachings get established.

So we don't have any time: it is either now or never. The clock is ticking: If we do not get Bábá's discourses fixed now, it will be impossible to do so later. And that will cause bloodshed and more division on the basis of the various versions of Bábá's teachings and their explanations. History bears testimony to this, that all the religions have similarly broken into multiple factions, groups and subgroups on the basis of differences in scripture interpretations. Bábá wanted to eliminate such problems, and that is why Bábá's discourses are recorded. But unfortunately, those recordings are not being published properly. This matter is very serious.

H group is distorting Bábá’s books

Again and again Bábá has warned that unqualified people should not ruin His teachings by manipulating them and providing wrong translation. That very thing which Bábá prohibits, has happened in this following case.

The AV-30 English discourse “Mysticism” has been completely ruined by mis-translation. The H group Publisher Sampurnanda has printed multiple times the very term which Bábá has prohibited.

While talking about mysticism in a Hindi discourse, Bábá clearly directed that “mysticism” and “rahasyátmakatá / rahasyaváda” are not the same thing. In Indian languages He has guided that mysticism is to be called “mystic-váda”. (see note 1)

Blunder by stooge Sampurnanda

But the translator for this Hindi version of AV-30 has done just the opposite, using instead the term which Baba has banned. Please see the underlined terms below. All these usages are wrong.

Here below is the back cover of AV-30 Hindi, translated and published by Sampurnanda H group. H group has printed the full AV-30 discourse called “Mysticism” here on the back cover. Wherever Bábá has spoken the word “mysticism” in English, H group has wrongly translated it as “rahasyátmakatá”. Each of these wrong translations goes directly against Bábá’s guideline, and is underlined in red below.

Here above is the back cover of AV-30 Hindi, wrongly translated and published by H group.  

As mentioned, wherever Bábá has spoken the word “mysticism”, H group has wrongly translated it as “rahasyátmakatá”. Each of these wrong translations goes directly against Bábá’s guideline, and is underlined in red above.

Conclusion: Distortion by Rudrananda’s stooges

Those who want to translate Bábá’s discourses should be qualified. They should read Bábá’s various grammar rules and guidelines. Otherwise they should not be allowed to translate. If we ignore this point, the result will be toxic to Bábá’s teachings. And that is just what has happened here. Those things which Bábá Himself has barred, have been used in His name—due to ignorance.

This harm has been done by H group. H group is copying the work of Tiljala Publications, sticking their own name on it, and getting it translated by worthless people. The example discussed here is just the tip of the iceberg. If those knowing Hindi and English compare the original English (see note 3) with the above scan of the Hindi translation, they will see that this AV-30 translation is full of junk.

It is sad that Bábá’s books are getting ruined by unworthy people before our eyes.

We have to save Bábá’s discourses.

Note 1. Here below Bábá is explaining in Hindi that “rahasyaváda” is the wrong translation of the word “mysticism”. Rather, Bábá says, the proper translation is “mystic-váda”.

“I exist, my Lord exists, and my search for His glamour, my search for His grandeur, is never-ending. I am moving unto Him, moving along a never-ending path. This search for the Great by the little is called mysticism. The fundamental point of spirituality depends on this mysticism. And when this mysticism, this outward existence of mysticism, coincides with the inner spirit of mysticism, the goal is reached: the unit becomes Cosmic.”

“And for the attainment of this status we have come here. We have come to this world, so our lives are not meaningless. Our everything is meaningful; and by our knowledge, by our action and by our sincerity, we will be increasing our meaningfulness from unit to Infinite.” (4)

Two contradictory definitions printed by TP—Makes AM philosophy look hypocritical

This above discussed contradiction has been sitting in AMPS’s printed books being sold all over the world for almost six decades. The wrong teaching—from “The Intuitional Science of the Vedas - 1” in Subháśita Saḿgraha Part 2, and the correct teaching—from ”Psychic Assimilation in Psycho-Spiritual Practice”, Subháśita Saḿgraha Part 8—have both been in print for approximately that much time. And this contradiction is not subtle or vague; it is a glaring contradiction that makes Bábá look like someone who says one thing at one time, and an opposite thing at another.

Kewal Sinha prints false things

(in the name of Bábá)

It is the duty of every Márgii to preserve and propagate Bábá's teachings in their purest form. And to do that, when one quotes Bábá's teachings in one's writing, then it is one's moral duty to cite the book name, title, discourse name and date etc, so that the reader can easily verify the accuracy of that quote. Otherwise so many false things are getting propagated these days in the name of Bábá. That is why it is the duty of sincere Márgiis to follow this basic code of discipline. But unfortunately, some rotten apples are existing in our AMPS also. The following is a case in point.

Kewal Sinha the culprit

Márgii Kewal Sinha circulated one false quote in social media in Bábá's name, with the date and place: "1st January 1971 Kolkata". Reading Kewal’s quote, it is obvious by seeing the date and place, that it is false. Because in January 1971, Bábá addressed the DMC in Boring road, Patna. Seeing the description "1st January 1971 Kolkata", some Márgiis raised the question and asked Kewal Sinha, "Please provide the book and chapter name." But Kewal Sinha is so arrogant and egotistical that he turned down the request. Even after repeated requests, he did not budge. So in this situation, the only way is to condemn him publicly for his dirty behavior.

The first thing is, Kewal Sinha is publishing false things in the name of Bábá. And the second thing is, even after repeated requests Kewal Sinha is hiding the book name and chapter of the published book etc. Because 1st January 1971 Bábá was present in Patna. So Kewal's Kolkata reference is bogus.

Vanity:  Kewal Sinha and Vimuktananda

Kewal Sinha has vanity that he was the editor of Raktamanjari journal Patna. In 1980, Bábá talked to him during UPSF meeting. Kewal ji mentions this reporting matter always and thinks that whatever he posts in Whatsapp and Facebook is correct.....

Here the example should be seen of Vimuktananda, who pre-70’s was editor of Ananda Loka magazine and Cosmic Society. And Bábá used to praise Vimuktananda a lot. Vimuktananda became a defector and went against Bábá—this very Vimuktananda. So one should never think that a post holder is great due to the post they hold. One’s greatness will be decided by one’s actions. If one posts fallacious things on Whatsapp forums—thinking in one’s false vanity that because one held the post of editor in the past whatever one posts is true and must be accepted blindly—one will be in for a big fall. Just like Vimuktananda.

Psychic disease of Kewal

Kewal has vanity that he was editor of Raktamanjari journal in 1980 in Patna. Kewal ji mentions this reporting matter always and thinks that whatever he posts in Whatsapp and Facebook is correct.....

Kewal Sinha posted this below green quote in his Whatsapp group "Raktamanjari". Please see below a screenshot of his Whatsapp post. Márgiis requested that he tell the chapter and book in which the discourse is found. But Kewal did not reply.

Conclusion

As disciples of Shrii Shrii Ánandamúrti ji it is our duty to protect His teachings and remain ever vigilant that Bábá's teachings should be preserved properly. We should not forget that Lord Shiva's and Lord Krśńa's teachings got destroyed by their disciples. And the same thing is happening with Lord Shrii Shrii Ánandamúrti ji's teachings also. Bit by bit, negative people are eating away at and polluting Bábá's teachings.

Watch out for worthless disciples who are busy in destroying Bábá's teachings. About such types of negative people Bábá has illustrated a beautiful story which is appended below. Please see below, reference number one.
