Sarvatmananda's manipulation of AM books: Critical Discussion, History

BÁBÁ

Sarvatmananda's manipulation of AM books
(Critical Discussion in Whatsapp, about history of distortion of Ananda Marga scriptures)

Namaskar,

The matter of distortion of our Ananda Marga scripture has been a concern for many years. Please find below a history and pertinent information of the same, as discussed by Margiis on the Whatsapp Forum, “Save The Organization” [STO].

- - - - - - - - - - - -

[06/09, 8:45 PM] Niranjan Kumar: The reason which was primarily addressed for expulsion of ideological crusader Ac Maniiśananada Avadhut ji was his concern for Apta Vakya ie his concern for manipulation in Scriptures.

All Margiis were alerted in 1994 by circulars

[06/09, 8:45 PM] Niranjan Kumar: He was expelled on allegation of creating an awareness for Manipulation in Apta Vakya or manipulation in Scriptures.

I think it was 1994-95 DMC when a 40 page newsletter was sent by a Margii in which detailed notes have been given about manipulation of Scriptures. A CD was also sent as proof of manipulation.

The Margii whose name was printed accepted that he has sent the letter.

But unideological Groupist conspirators charged Ac. Manishananda ji for writing and circulating that ideological letter which explained about manipulation of Scriptures.

Who is the man behind manipulation of AM Scriptures.

Sarvatmananda has been after the life of Manishananda

[06/09, 8:45 PM] Niranjan Kumar: It is very sad that it is only Crude & shrewd Sarvatmananda ji who is Devilishly engaged in manipulation of our scriptures.

He is main person who has been after the life of the emblem of ideological fight Ac. Manishananda Avadhut ji.
[06/09, 9:31 PM] Niranjan Kumar: I have seen Ac. Maniishananda ji was using legal organisational means and platform for raising ideological issues

Maniishananda ji was talking to ACB members giving them inputs to raise various ideological issues in ACB meeting.

Various ACB members raised many ideological issues along with issue of manipulation of Scriptures.

The ACB members raised ideological issue both verbal and in written form.

Several written communications with Publication Secretary and with ACB are still available as a document.

ACB members who  did written communication could be contacted to know about attitude of Sarvatmananda ji led Publication secretaries and others.
[06/09, 9:36 PM] Dr. K K. Nirmal#2: 😒
[06/09, 9:38 PM] Dr. K K. Nirmal#2: *But why❓*
[06/09, 9:41 PM] Dr. K K. Nirmal#2: Anybody knowing whereabout of Ac Bhadreshwarananda Avd?
[06/09, 9:42 PM] Shubhganananda Dada: One senior Dada told me procedure to translate BABA articles was to convert any speech into bangla whether it was in hindi or English. From this translated Bangla version to english or Hindi. Doesn't  this seems absurd way of translation.?
[06/09, 9:46 PM] Dr. K K. Nirmal#2: Maniishananda Dada ne MPD ka bhi purjor virodh kiya, unhe vishesh yoga mila aur mujhse hamesa ananda nagar prasas me milte the....we bettiah me DS the, he is a great devotee---where is he? This is the righteous time for him to come in the front line to save the lost org.
[06/09, 9:48 PM] Dr. K K. Nirmal#2: Baba ne court me kaha ki we 200 se adhik bhashaen jante hain, kis bhasha me unka statement court lena chahega? Us Baba ko ek particular bhasha me bandh dena bachkana aur dhrishtata hai.
[06/09, 9:59 PM] Anil Gawas: Translations should be from HIS original script (It may be English, Bangla, Hindi) to other language....

Tried to hide or destroy the truth

[06/09, 9:59 PM] Anil Gawas: For translation to other local languages should not use already translated book to avoid mistakes...
[06/09, 10:07 PM] Dr. K K. Nirmal#2: Geosentiment kha gaya structure ko
[06/09, 10:35 PM] Niranjan Kumar: Yes this misleading theory [that Baba always spoke in Bangla]  is being propagated by Sarvatmananda ji & his Teammates.

They not only propagated this theory rather they acted further on this thing.

They tried to hide or destroy many magazines which had original article in Hindi and English.

Sarvatmananda ji sent one of his agents to collect original magazines and CD from Margii. The agent collected those original material on assurance to return it to them but those magazines and other articles were never returned to Margii.

Hypocritical, unideological, shrewd and shameless

[06/09, 10:50 PM] Niranjan Kumar: It is unbelievable that Sarvatmananda ji & Company is so Hypocrite, unideological, shrewd and Shameless.

1. S & Co. is big Joker as they are writing "Translated from original Bengali" on those articles whose video and audio is widely available. Which has been delivered in Hindi or English.

Original is Transcription in as-it-is form in whichever language it has been delivered.

It is Sad that today respected Kisan Sood dada has also became advocate of S & co. [Sarvatmananda ji & Co.] after getting  a central post in S & Co [Calcutta group].

Manipulation is not only about original transcription rather about many deliberate addition , deletion and changes which has changed complete meaning of those pravachan.

Sadly The great Sarvatmananda ji has not dissuaded even a fraction for his unideological mission of Changes in Scriptures.
[06/09, 11:02 PM] Dr. K K. Nirmal#2: Team? Kewal ji kuch prakash daliye.
[06/09, 23:09] Shubhganananda Ji: Translated from original Bangla doesn't it  give the impression BABA knew only bangla.
[07/09, 01:30] Niranjan Kumar: For the petty gain in organisational politics S & Co. Promoted this unideological concept that BABA use to speak only Bengali.

Hindi group leaders against Maniishananda ji & ideological crusade

[07/09, 01:30] Niranjan Kumar: This was an effort to limit a limitless entity.

This has been greatest conspiracy to limit all knowing entity to make only a Bengali entity.

But this was a Funny misadventure.

Which must be exposed.

Many of us  is alive who have interacted BABA in Hindi, English, Magahi and in many languages.

We have audio, video and many of us is alive who have heard BABA doing pravachan in Hindi, English along with Bengali.

A big credit goes to Ac. Maniishananda ji and many ideological Margii and WT who understood this misadventure and exposed it.

But dada Mantracetanananda ji’s indication is also remarkable. He is hinting about the unideological grouping [teaming up] of Hindi group leaders against Maniishananda ji’s ideological crusade against many un-ideological issues along with issue of manipulation of Scriptures. “Oh, what can we do? The audio cassette was stolen."
Bábá says, where one is being pointed out for a mistake, "If there is even a little fault in you, you should keep your mouth closed and accept it all, and you should thank the person for pointing our your fault and request punishment." (2) But instead of accepting their mistake, TP may give the preposterous and lame excuse that, "Oh, what can we do? The audio cassette was stolen." So watch out. Everybody knows that they are sitting on the treasure of all Bábá’s video and audio. The archive is in the control of B group. But even then, B group is ready to spread lies. Márgiis are luminous bodies?

Bábá

Ánanda Márgiis are luminous bodies?
Namaskár,

You know, our AMPS books are not up to the mark. Bábá spoke one thing, and in our AMPS book something else is printed. In the past, so many examples have been given. Here is another one. In Ánanda Vacanámrtam part 3, chapter 17 Hindi, it is printed that Ánanda Márgiis are luminous bodies.

Sinners became luminous bodies

Those who know the meaning of luminous bodies, know that luminous bodies are cursed beings, and are under severe punishment. When they had a human body, they made terrible mistakes, and in result became luminous bodies. Prakrti punished them. Luminous bodies do not have all the five fundamental factors. They have only three fundamental factors. Two factors they do not have: the solid and liquid factors. As a result, one cannot touch or see them.

So it is obvious that Ánanda Márgiis are not luminous bodies. Ánanda Márgiis are standard human beings. And you know that luminous bodies are facing punishment, and after millions of years they may get a human body. So, printing in AM books that Ánanda Márgiis are luminous bodies, is a kind of curse on them. For details, please see the below scan wherein the critical mistake is underlined in red.

Here in the below scan, in the red underlined section, it is printed that Ánanda Márgiis are luminous bodies.

Ghosts and Evil Spirits w-red mark.jpg

(1)

Please see in the above scan, the red underlined section. It is printed there that Ánanda Márgiis are luminous bodies.

Conclusion

So we see time and again, that Márgiis find mistake after mistake when they read our AM books carefully. Now this is a call to those Márgiis who have sincere affection for Ánanda Márga philosophy, Bábá's teachings. Márgiis should pressurize our Tiljala Publishers that they should give importance to Ánanda Márga books of all the languages; not just those in Bengali.

Namaskar,
Shefalii Chattopadhyay

Please see the below scan of the Publisher’s page of our Tiljala Publishers. It is written here that this book is the first edition, 1995. In this very book, the wrong thing has been printed.

Shastra must be totally flawless

Bábá says, “The scriptures containing spiritual injunctions must be totally flawless.” (3) So as Ánanda Márgiis, we must take this very seriously and work together to make the printed version of Bábá's discourses perfect. By such examples as the above, it becomes clear we cannot merely sit back and expect that with time the Tiljala Publishers will fix everything.

When our Publishers are not fixing the discourses, then it falls upon Ánanda Márgiis to come forward, create pressure for change, and help in the rectification of our scripture.

More distortion in Ánanda Vacanámrtam-2

BÁBÁ

Watch out: sections discarded from AV2-19
Deletion in Ánanda Vacanámrtam-2

Namaskar,

So many discourses Bábá has given in multiple languages. And many times Bábá said something in one language, but then the same things he did not speak in the next language. Rather He spoke new additional things. So in that case, until one combines what Bábá said in all the languages in which He spoke during a given discourse, that discourse will not be complete.

I am giving example here below of a discourse published in Ánanda Vacanámrtam—"Keep Company With The Virtuous". (1) Bábá has given this discourse using both Hindi and English. Some sections Bábá spoke in Hindi, and some in English. And the sections Bábá spoke in one language are not the same as what He spoke in the other language. So to properly publish what Bábá has given in the discourse, it is essential to include the material from both the languages. Short of that, the discourse will be incomplete.

Example of neglect of Hindi sections

Now please see for yourself, Bábá has spoken the following green para in Hindi—but you will not find these sentences or any sentences having their meaning in the published English discourse, shown in the below scan.

In this above Hindi para highlighted in green, Baba recounts a special and highly educational story about Birbal and the King. Unfortunately it has not been included in the printed English discourse shown in the below scan.

Here then below is a scan of the final section of the English discourse as published by our Tiljala Publishers. In the scan shown below, the red “X” marks the location where Baba has recounted in Hindi the above story highlighted in green. That story is missing from the scan. Furthermore, you will not find the above green sentences, or even sentences expressing their meaning, anywhere in the entire English discourse as printed by TP. (See the link below to review the full printed discourse.)

Keep Company With The Virtuous w-red mark.jpg

Actually not only the section highlighted in green above, but multiple other sections as well which Baba expressed only in Hindi in this discourse, have been left out by our Tiljala Publishers. As a result, these sections which Baba spoke in Hindi are still missing today from the content of the English printed discourse.

This is our dharmic duty to protect our Guru's discourses. Please come forward to resolve this issue. What Guru spoke, is not reaching to you. This discourse was given by Baba back in 1978; and since then for the past 39 years, our Tiljala Publishers could not be bothered to translate the Hindi sections into English so as to complete the printed discourse. How long are you going to tolerate this ruination of your Guru’s teachings?

Namaskar,
Prakash

Police recover suitcase filled with cocaine
(Situation of Rudrananda, H Group, is similar to thief in the below analogy)

It is like a thief who stole a box off a train. In the process of escaping with the box he got caught by the police. Upon their questioning he insisted it was his own box. The police proceeded to open the box and found it to be filled with cocaine. So now the thief has trapped himself in a drug deal. The police had asked him if the box was his and he swore it was. Now he is trapped.

This is the situation of H group. With eyes closed, they are printing all the books of B group. When they will wake up, no one knows. But one thing is true, that these people are taking upon themselves full responsibility for the mistakes of the B group Publishers by putting their own name on the same publications. In a way they are involving themselves in the same sin. Otherwise, why haven’t they or why don’t they transcribe the discourse from the original discourse and print it anew on their own?

Having claimed credit as the publisher, they are now getting caught red-handed as the creators of distortion-filled discourses.

Note 1: In order to make Bábá’s teachings distortion-free, please forward this posting to the respected Tiljala Publications Secretary, dada Mantreshwarananda ji <Mantreshwarananda@hotmail.com>, and to respected dada Acyutananda ji, <acyutananda1@gmail.com>. As well, please send this posting to <hariishananda@gmail.com> and <acaryarudrananda@gmail.com>.

Note 2: To see and review the entire English discourse as printed by our Tiljala publishers, please click here. You will not find the above green sentences, or even sentences expressing their meaning, anywhere in the entire English discourse as printed by TP.

"Keep Company with the Virtuous" As Printed by Tiljala Publishers

Please see below the English discourse "Keep Company with the Virtuous", as printed by our Tiljala Publishers in the 2009 Electronic Edition, as well the physically printed editions:

----------------------

Keep Company with the Virtuous
27 September 1978, Patna

Regarding the dos and don’ts of life it has been said that:

Tyája durjana saḿsargaḿ bhaja sádhu samágamaḿ,
Kuru puńyaḿ ahorátram smara nityamanityatám.

Tyája durjana saḿsargaḿ” – you should renounce the company of “durjana”. What is “durjana”? The man who depraves, who misguides others is called “durjana”. Now, a particular man may not be durjana for all. Suppose Mr. X is durjana for Mr. Y; he may not be durjana for Mr. Z.

You see, there are merits and demerits in almost each and every individual. Suppose Mr. X is durjana for Mr. Y. Say, he has got merit worth 20 points and demerit worth 25 points, the resultant 5 points go in favour of demerit, so he is a durjana and he is durjana for Mr. Y. Suppose Mr. Y is a good man, he has got merit worth 15 points and demerit worth 13 points. So the resultant is 2 points in favour of merit. So, he is a good man. But, in his favour the resultant merit is only 2 and in the case of Mr. X the resultant demerit is 5 points. If Mr. Y comes in contact with Mr. X, Mr. X has demerit worth 5 points, Y has merit worth 2 points, and the resultant goes in favour of demerit. Mr. Y will become bad. But, in the case of Mr. Z, suppose merit is 30 points and demerit 15 points, then the resultant is 15 points in favour of merit. Mr. X has only 5 points demerit, so if Mr. X comes in contact with Mr. Z, Mr. X will become good. So for Mr. Z, Mr. X is not durjana; rather he is in a position to uplift the condition of Mr. X. It is not something permanent; it varies from man to man. So this term durjana is a relative term. “Tyája durjana saḿsargaḿ” – you should avoid the company of a man who is durjana for you, that is, whose resultant demerit is more than your resultant merit.

Tyája durjana saḿsargaḿ.” What should you do? To avoid the company of durjana – “bhaja sádhu samágamam” – you should encourage the company of sádhus.

Let us know who a sádhu is? Sádhu means;

Pránah yathátmanoviist́ah bhútánám api te tathá,
Átmaopamyena bhútánaḿ dayáḿ kurvanti Sádhavah.

Only using a saffron costume does not make a man a sádhu. Sádhu is the inner sádhu. You should be sádhu internally. You may or may not use any external saffron costume. In India, those who were called sádhu used all-white costume and those who were sannyásiis used an all-saffron costume. Saffron costume for sannyásiis and white costume for sádhus. The system is that sádhus will use the suffix “dása” after their names - Govardhana Dása, Yamuná Dása, Hari Dása etc. In this way sádhus are to use the suffix dása. And sannyásiis are to use the suffix ánanda after their names – Vivekánanda, Paramánanda – ánanda after their names. This is the technical difference between sádhus and sannyásiis. In Ananda Marga, they are known as sannyásiis. An avadhuta is a sannyásii. “Bhaja Sádhu Samágamam”. You should always encourage the company of sádhu people. And now you know the meaning of sádhu.

For each and every living entity one’s personal life is the dearest thing. One loves one’s personal life very much. This is the rule, this is the characteristic of all living beings. But those people who understand this sentiment of living beings and love others with the thought, “I should not kill, I should not give them any trouble because they love their life as much as I love my own life”, are true sádhus and those who lack this sentiment are not sádhus, they are asádhu. Preaching the gospels of peace, and at the same time slaughtering chickens, is not a proper thing for a sádhu because the one who kills the chickens loves his life and the chickens also love their own lives. So that man lacks the universal sentiment of love. He is not a sádhu. A sádhu must be vegetarian.

Bhaja sádhu samágamam”. You should encourage the company of sádhus. Sádhu – the detailed meaning is, he who uplifts others in all the strata of life. That is, he who helps others in their physical, psychic and spiritual development is a sádhu. Whoever has got more points than you, more resultant points in favour of merit, is a sádhu for you. This is just like the explanation of durjana. Suppose the resultant merit in your favour is 45 points, and another man has a resultant merit of, say, 60 points. Having 60 points of merit, that man is a sádhu for you. It is a relative term. Utilize each and every moment of your life in enjoying the company of sádhus.

Kuru puńyaḿ ahorátraḿ”. You should be engaged in doing “puńya” day and night. “Ahorátra” means 24 hours, from sunrise to sunrise. As per occidental calculation, a day is from midnight to midnight and as per oriental system, that is, the system of Asia, a day is from sunrise to sunrise. One day in India means sunrise to sunrise. One day in Europe means midnight to midnight. In Europe, the date changes just after midnight and in India, the date changes after sunrise. That is the system. Day or “ahah” means from sunrise to sunset and night or “rátri” means sunset to sunrise, that is, night portion. You should be engaged in doing puńya karma, day and night, ahorátram, from sunrise to sunrise. “Kuru Puńyaḿ”. What is puńyaḿ?

Aśt́ádashapuráńeśu Vyásasya vacanadvayam,
Paropakárah puńyáya pápáya parapiirańam.

Vyásadeva wrote so many puráńas. He said that whenever you are engaged in doing some welfare work, you are doing puńya. And when you are working against public interest you are doing pápa. Be engaged in puńya work for twenty four hours; day and night, from sunrise to sunrise. How can one do puńyam while sleeping? How can one be engaged in puńya karma? If during wakeful hours one is engaged in puńya karma, then during sleep what will it be? A composure of peace, a composure of welfare. So while sleeping one is also engaged in puńya karma. Be engaged in puńya karma for the entire day and night – from sunrise to sunrise.

In Saḿskrit, the entire literature is divided into four groups. One is kávya, the second is itikathá, the third is itihása and the fourth is puráńa. Kávya is “Vákyaḿ rasátmakaḿ.” When a story has been narrated in a lucid way it is called kávyam. Then itikathá: itikathá is a proper record of what happened; that is, that which deals with factual statements is itikathá. And itihása is that portion of factual statement that has got educative value and helps you in your upliftment. That portion of itikathá is called itihása. The English term for itikathá is “history”, in French “histoire”, but there is no English term for itihása. And the last one is puráńa. Puráńa is not a fact, not at all a factual statement, but a story. That story has got educative value. That story helps you in your physical, mental and spiritual upliftment. The Rámáyana is a purána, the Mahábhárata is itihása and the history taught in schools and colleges is itikathá. Itihása is not taught in schools and colleges nowadays. And puráńa, just now I told you, is a story, but it has educative value. Vyásadeva wrote eighteen puráńas. What was the central idea? Why did he write so many puráńas? His intention was to preach to the world that puńya means to help the people in their all-round development and pápa means to degrade the people, to misguide the people in all spheres of life. So here the word puńya has been used. You should be engaged in puńya karma, in helping others, for all the twenty four hours.

Smara nityamanityatám”. You should always remember that you are in a world of passing shows, moving panorama. No picture, no position, no stance shall remain as they are just at present. That is, everything will change, everything is to undergo changes and you should be ready to adapt yourself, to adjust yourself with those changed phases.

Distortion: flaw in Ánanda Márga books

Bábá

Distortion: flaw in Ánanda Márga books

Namaskar,

In the world there are various religions, and most of the time their members pray to God. And they encourage others that everyone should pray. Due to this, those who pray think they are great dharmikas. But according to Ánanda Márga philosophy, it is just the opposite; prayer is very bad. Because prayer means, "Hey, Parama Puruśa, you forgot your duty to give me what I need. That's why I am reminding you to give me those things."

Prayer toadyism is very bad thing

You know, according to Ánanda Márga philosophy, prayer is just accusing Parama Puruśa, who is our wellwisher. And whatever we need, about that He knows more than we. And He provides the needful. We don't even know what our real needs are. Because we don't know what is going to happen after one second. Whether we need some burial place or a fancy car, we don't know which of the two is appropriate for the coming moment.

The key point is that in Ánanda Márga philosophy, prayer is looked upon as a very bad thing. Now see, in Ánanda Sútram Bábá condemns prayer:

"3-11. Prárthanárcaná mátraeva bhramamúlam." (1)

"Purport: It is useless to pray to God for something, for He is sure to give what is necessary. Solicitation or importunity in the name of worship is nothing but toadyism and flattery." (1)

See the flaw, in yellow color

Now just see the below-- our Tiljala Publishers (TP) have done just the opposite of what Bábá is guiding in Ánanda Sútram. Please read the yellow colored section below.

Tiljala Publishers have printed in an AM book, "This is what we should pray for, and this is the reason that we should build Ánandanagar and help it radiate light to the universal humanity." (2)

(For full version of this above Bábá’s quotation, please scroll down to just above the reference section.)

Conclusion

When Bábá has guided that "It is useless to pray to God for something", and that prayer is an accusation that Parama Puruśa did not provide what it was His duty to provide-- then it is wrong to print such injunctions for prayer in our AM books.

Namaskar,
In Him
Sanjay das

Praying to God means pointing out God's partiality

“Prayer is the act of asking for a favour with earnestness. It also means a solemn petition addressed to the Supreme Being for certain benefits. One prays to God for something which one does not possess or thinks one does not possess. One asks God for these favours with the faith that He alone can bestow everything and by His mere wish all wants can be satisfied. By prayer or by begging one wants to awaken His wish so that one may be granted the things one lacks. Does not one’s attempt to rouse the wish of God to fulfil these needs, upon careful and rational thinking, appear to be a reminder to God to give one something of which God has kept one deprived? It would otherwise not be necessary to remind Him in prayer of that thing or to try to arouse His wish to give. For instance, if one is in need of money, one would, with the faith that God alone can give, pray to Him for the favour of giving one money.”

“Does not this request show God’s fault in keeping one in want of money, when He alone can give it? God alone is blamed for it, and by praying to Him for money one is precisely pointing out to Him His partiality in not giving one the money one needed.”

“Therefore, prayer or asking for favours from God is only pointing out to the Sole Giver His mistakes in the distribution of His favours. It only presumes lack of impartiality in Him, and that is why He is blamed for making some very rich and others very poor. Praying to God for favours is only to bring to His notice the charge of partiality levelled against Him. When prayer leads to such a conclusion, it is only ignorance to ask for favours.” (3)

Addendum Sound File: Three Interpretations of the Word Krśńa - Hindi - AV13-15

The discourse "Three Interpretations of the Word Krśńa" was given by Baba in Hindi, 8 July 1979, in Ludhiana. However in the latest (2011) edition of AV13, the Tiljala Publishers printed in the Publisher's Note,

Three Interpretations of the Word Krśńa”. Discourse in Bengali. Tape. Originally published in Bengali as “Krśńa shabder tinti vyákhyá” in Ánanda Vacanámrtam 13, 1980. First English publication in Discourses on Krśńa and the Giitá, 2000. Tr. by Prof, (Retd.) Anil Banerjee, AVA and AAA. (Ánanda Vacanámrtam     (2011), part 13, Publisher’s Note, p.xxiv)

So the Tiljala Publishers are claiming Baba has given the discourse in Bengali.

Here you can download the sound file of Baba's discourse and listen for yourself. You will find that Baba has spoken in Hindi, not in Bengali.

Bábá

Distortion: false publishers page
(original Hindi discourse stolen & covered up as Bangla)

Namaskar,

Thank you for your interest in this important topic that deals with the purity of Bábá's printed books.

This letter addresses another discourse which our Tiljala Publishers (TP) stole and covered up as Bangla-- in order to falsely make it appear that Bábá gave more discourses in Bengali than any other language.

The published text of the discourse bears no resemblance to the words Bábá actually spoke. The discourse is Ánanda Vacanámrtam, Part 13, chapter 15.

TP loots one more Hindi discourse & adds to Bangla pile

This letter contains the following points:

1. Please download the sound file so you can better understand this issue. (See download link below in point #9)

2. Our Tiljala Publishers (TP) stole and covered up this discourse as an original Bangla discourse. But Bábá spoke in Hindi only.

This is a discourse given by Bábá in Hindi. TP stole the discourse and falsely named it as “original Bengali” on the Publisher’s Page.

3. TP translated the original Hindi discourse to Bangla, and then translated that Bangla version back to Hindi. And they printed that double translated Hindi in the book.

As a result, instead of reading Bábá’s original words in direct transcription, Márgiis are forced to read the concocted words of our Tiljala Publishers (TP). For purposes of Bengalization they have done this.

About the below scan

Following is a scan of the Publisher’s page-- AV-13 Hindi 1994 edn by TP. Please pay attention to point #4.

4.  See below the inside cover of the book AV-13 (H, ’94 edn) that falsely states "श्रीमती उर्मिला बनर्जी द्वारा बंला से अनूदित" -- "Translated from the Bengali by Shrimatii Urmila Banarjee". So our Tiljala Publishers claim that Bábá has given the discourse in Bengali, and this is the Hindi translation. Which of course is completely false. Because Bábá delivered this discourse in Hindi. And the sound file is the proof. By now you might have played and listened to it.

Thirty-eight years have passed--no sign of any work to fix it

5. Bábá says, “The scriptures containing spiritual injunctions must be totally flawless.” (Namah Shiváya Shántáya, Disc: 14)

So as Ánanda Márgiis, we must take this very seriously and work together to make the printed version of Bábá's discourses perfect. By such examples as the above, it becomes clear we cannot merely sit back and expect that with time the Tiljala Publishers will fix everything. Thirty-eight years have passed since Bábá delivered this discourse in 1979, with no sign of any work to fix it going on. The Tiljala group whatever they spend all their time and resources on these days, if instead they had utilized these in fixing Bábá's discourses, then their efforts would have been worthwhile. When our Publishers are not doing the needful, then it falls upon Ánanda Márgiis to come forward, create pressure for change, and help in the rectification of our scripture.

6. By now you must have downloaded the original sound file.

7. Those who do not know Hindi can contact any private translating agency and confirm that what Bábá actually spoke is completely different from what TP wrote and printed.

8. If you are new to this network and you tried but are still not sure how to proceed then let us know. We are ready to help you.

9. Please download the sound file by clicking here so you can better understand this issue by comparing what Tiljala Publishers printed, with what Bábá actually said.

Namaskar,
at His lotus feet,
Kiirti Chakraborty

Note 1: The discourse - "कृष्ण शब्द की व्याख्या" ["Krśńa Shabda kii Vyákhyá"] - is from Ánanda Vacanámrtam, Part 13 (1994), Hindi edition, chapter 15.

Note 2: This discourse was published most recently in the 2011 English edition. And in this 2011 edn as well our Tiljala Publishers have continued the very same blunder-- “translated from the original Bengali”.
